STOOPID Folktales are full of misfits, twits and holy fools. Embrace your inner idiot!

Join Chloe Bezer (singer songwriter, ‘cellist and catastrophiser) and Alys Torrance (storyteller, clown and panicky optimist) on a madcap, music-laced misadventure, as they tell tales of women, men and chickens who won’t behave as society expects.

Maybe they’re fools, or maybe they know exactly what they’re doing.

Plunging into the Grimm brothers’ folktales, Wilder Mann and clown traditions and the daily news, Alys and Chloe are devising a show, exploring how we humans try to keep control of the uncontrollable.

Come and enjoy Clever Else, Katie and Freddie, the Hen on the Nut Hill and four of the Three Sillies in a night of cabaret-ish fun.

Chloe and Alys met at a storytelling workshop. They both live in South London and make solo shows as well as collaborating with other artists. This is their first show together.
