I’m a cellist and theatre-maker based in South East London. I’ve been making theatre since 2003 and playing the cello since 1983.

From 2005 to 2009 I was Co-Artistic Director of Imprint Theatre Company with the brilliant Dick Bonham (Little Mighty).

We performed on narrow boats, created (false) audio guides for gothic churches, staged public interventions in renovated city spaces and told ghost stories in theatres. For much of that time I was dressed as a clown.

I had a break to bring up my kids.

Since coming back to work in 2017, I’ve been gently easing my way back in with a show about post-natal depression (all the LOLs), some feminist musical museum banter about colonial Britain, a storytelling show (STOOPID) and a piece about Avocets.

In the past, and (thank god!) since returning to work, I’ve been fortunate enough to have had some nice things said about my shows, which is very encouraging at this time…
